Number of meals packaged in the Verde Valley

Hi Everyone,

We just want to thank and acknowledge our awesome Verde Valley volunteers for donating their time to Kids Against Hunger. To date, more than 150 volunteers have packaged 38,664 meals! Those meals have been sent to Haiti, Mexico, Joplin MO, and distributed locally to the Old Town Mission, Hearts for the Hungry and Homeless, and to the Cornville, Central Arizona, and Beaver Creek food banks. Many thanks to the youth of Verde Valley Christian Church and the Verde Valley Leadership for hosting packaging events this summer! And a special thank-you to Beth Cady, who has worked tirelessly with us from the beginning and whose expertise we have come to rely on.
